Christmas Light Installation in River Oaks, Houston TX
River Oaks is Houston’s most prestigious residential neighborhood — a 1,100-acre enclave of estate homes, tree-lined boulevards, and manicured gardens that has been Houston’s most desirable address since it was developed in the 1920s. The River Oaks median home value exceeds $2 million, with many estate properties approaching $10 million and beyond. Christmas lighting in River Oaks is not an afterthought. It is a statement.
Majestic Lighting Design provides estate-level Christmas light installation for River Oaks properties. Our Houston team designs and executes full-property holiday lighting installations — roofline coverage, mature oak and magnolia tree wrapping, motor court lighting, and garden perimeter accents — built to the standard this neighborhood demands.
River Oaks Homes and the Scale of a True Estate Install
River Oaks homes are generational. The estates along Lazy Lane, River Oaks Boulevard, and Inwood Drive often date to the 1930s through 1960s, with grounds that feature 50–80 year old live oaks, formal gardens, and architectural details — columns, loggias, porte-cocheres, and limestone facades — that become extraordinary when properly lit for the holidays.
A proper River Oaks Christmas install goes well beyond roofline strands. The trees are the feature. Many of the live oaks on these properties have canopy spreads of 50–80 feet — lighting the trunk and primary limbs takes a full crew and, often, a bucket truck. When done right, these trees become the defining element of the holiday display — visible from the street and from adjacent properties.
- Estate roofline coverage — full ridge, gutter, and all architectural peaks in commercial C9 or C7 LED strands
- Live oak and magnolia lighting — trunk wraps and primary limb lighting on feature trees, bucket truck included
- Motor court and driveway lighting — illuminate the approach, columns, and entry gates
- Garden and formal landscape accents — integrate holiday lighting with existing landscape features
- Facade and column lighting — LED uplights or strand wrapping on architectural columns and arched entries
- Color temperature selection — warm white 2700K for classic elegance or cool white 6000K for modern contrast
