📞 Call Now: 888-885-2653Park City has some of the most specific holiday-lighting rules in Utah, and we build every display around them. Your lights are installed for the season, set to turn on only during the city’s allowed window, and switched off each night by the required time. You own the lights, and in later years you pay only for labor.
Book by November 1 for install before Thanksgiving and the start of ski season.

Under the city’s dark-sky update to its land management code, seasonal lights inside city limits may be on from November 1 through March 1, must be off by 11 p.m. at homes, and can’t spill light onto neighboring property. Outdoor bulbs in Park City and unincorporated Summit County are also limited to 3,000 K or warmer.
So we program each timer to that window: lights on from the first allowed evening, off by 11 every night, and nothing aimed past the lot line. You don’t have to remember the dates, and the display stays on the right side of the code all season.
Homes outside city limits, in Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook or around Kimball Junction, fall under Summit County’s rules instead, where seasonal lights are allowed November 15 through March 1. Gated and resort communities such as Deer Valley and Promontory can add their own requirements on top. Check your association’s guidelines; we design and set the schedule to whatever applies at your address.
Park City roofs collect heavy snow and dump it in slides, often with heat cable along the eaves. We route light lines away from heat cable runs and slide paths, keep connections up off the snowpack, and protect outlets from melt and refreeze. Lights are hung before the deep snow arrives, which is another reason to book early.
Many Park City homes sit empty for weeks at a time. Because your timer is already set to the city’s window, the display turns on and off correctly whether you’re in town or not. We can coordinate access and scheduling with your property manager, and have the house lit before you arrive for Thanksgiving or the holidays.
Historic homes in Old Town can have their own review requirements for anything attached to the structure. We confirm the details before working on any Old Town home rather than assuming.
Inside city limits, November 1 through March 1, off by 11 p.m. at homes. In the Snyderville Basin, Summit County’s window runs November 15 through March 1.
The city’s code limits outdoor lighting to 3,000 K or warmer. We default to warm white for that reason.
